Rohit Chandra's views on Cricket World Cup 2011

Hi My name is Rohit Chandra. You can call me a Cricket Enthusiast since the time when my country India lifted up the 1983 world cup. It was truly a time for all of India to celebrate the heroics of the 11 men at the grand mecca of cricket , The Lords. No words will suffice to describe the amazing all round performance by the entire team. Time had finally arrived for the beckoning of this great nation. Please do not take any offense while I keep chipping on India's heroics. The cup surely was to go for the third consecutive time to the powerful West Indies. I would like to say that there has been never a team such a West Indies that has created the kind of terror in the hearts of opponents till date. Hence aptly, each member of the great Clive Lloyd's team had a powerful epithet that goes along with their name for eg: If Joel Garner was the "Whispering Death" then Viv Richards was the "Joe Frazier". India did go ahead an beat such an amazing team when in itself is the greater achievement than the World Cup 1983 per se.With less than 30 days to go to the start of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.
